Mirth Interface Engine
Our team specializes in increasing interoperability among disparate healthcare technology by programming Mirth Connect interface engines to handle a variety of messaging standards, including HL7, XML, CCD, DICOM, EDI, NCPDP, and more. We use the Mirth Appliances deployment platform and its PostgreSQL database to integrate Mirth features into Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Practice Management Systems (PMS), and Electronic Health Records (EHR). Mirth Integrations
Our healthcare enterprise solutions include comprehensive integrations of NextGen Healthcare information systems, such as the NextGen EHR and Practice Management platforms, as well as specialty-focused Ambulatory Medical Record (AMR) programs. Mirth Web Service
Our Mirth Connect web service development solutions include Common Language Infrastructures (CLI) and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), which are designed to speed up the retrieval of electronic health information and enable real-time communication. We utilize web-based exchange languages to integrate user interfaces (REST, HTML, CSS), represent data resources (JSON, XML), and render queried data (Atom). Mirth HL7 Solutions
We use HL7 v2/v3 messaging protocols (including TCP/MLLP, JMS, FTP/SFTP, HTTP, and SOAP) to securely transmit live vitals, diagnoses, medical histories, demographics, lab orders and results, e-prescriptions, administrative data, insurance information and more. Our team also specializes in developing custom Health Information Exchange (HIE) networks that are integrated with Mirth HL7 data tools, an easily navigable Enterprise Master Patient Index (eMPI), and intuitive data aggregation software. These solutions allow healthcare organizations to exchange and manage a wide range of information, helping to improve interoperability and support clinical decision-making.
Mirth Mail
We are able to configure NextGen’s Mirth Mail direct messaging platform using Simple Mail Transfer Protocols (SMTP) to easily share referrals, test results, SOAP notes, and other text-based messages between thousands of endpoints. We also leverage Direct Project messaging standards to automate SMS and email notifications triggered by custom or pre-programmed encounters. In addition, we have experience programming APIs for Mirth OpenPD’s chat module and the Mirth HISP provider directories. These solutions enable healthcare organizations to efficiently and securely exchange information, helping to improve interoperability and support clinical decision-making.
Mirth Plugins
Our team has experience using open-source Mirth extensions to further extend functionality and accelerate workflows. We are able to integrate the Mirth Results central data repository and leverage it to program user-based and situational consent protocols. We also utilize the Mirth Match eMPI to add C-CDA capabilities to EHRs and help achieve Meaningful Use. Other Mirth extensions that we have experience with include PACS/DICOM plugins, medication/immunization registries, and drug monitoring program access. These tools and techniques enable us to customize and enhance the capabilities of Mirth Connect to meet the specific needs of our clients.
